Owner + Head Barber

Born and raised in Ottawa, Mikka moved to Toronto at 18 and discovered her skill and passion for grooming and barbering. Now with over a decade of cutting and barbering experience to her name, Gia earned her stripes at the prestigious Toni&Guy studio in Yorkville, qualifying as a North American finalist for the Toni&Guy Photographic Awards in 2011 for Men’s Texture and Avant-Garde styles. Formerly the senior barber at respected barbershop Original Grooming Experts, Gia’s expertise with clippers, scissors, and razor blade have earned her a loyal customer base that have followed her into the upscale environment barbershop of The Groomed Society, and spread the word along the way. When she is not giving the women and gentlemen of Toronto flawless haircuts, she can be found walking Queen West with her French Bulldog, Luigi, or behind the lens of her Nikon D700.
